- Pneumothorax after Nuss bar placement

Approach to the differential diagnosis of Nuss bar malfunction:
- On the immediate post operative exam, look for pneumothorax and check that the Nuss bar stabilizers are in correct position
- On followup radiographs, check that the Nuss bar stabilizers are in correct position
