  • Imaging: Most polyps are in colon
  • DDX:
  • Complications: Risk of malignant transformation of polyps is 100%
  • Treatment: Colectomy
  • Clinical:
    — Familial adenomatous polyposis is cancer predisposition syndrome associated with colon cancer and desmoids and hepatoblastoma
    — Gardner syndrome – familial adenomatous polyposis plus osteomas and fibromas and epidermoid cysts
    — Turcot syndrome – familial adenomatous polyposis plus brain tumors
