Dromedary Hump

  • Etiology: Normal variant of renal contour due to splenic impression onto superolateral left kidney
  • Imaging: Prominent focal bulge on lateral border of left kidney
  • Imaging DMSA scan: Used to demonstrate normal radiotracer uptake in the suspicious region thus ruling out tumor
  • DDX: Renal tumor
