Axial T1 MRI without contrast of the face (above left) shows an isointense well-defined oval sublingual mass that on sagittal T2 MRI (above right) is hyperintense and heterogenous in appearance. The mass is above the mylohyoid muscle and splays the genioglossus muscles sideways. Axial (below left) and sagittal (below right) T1 MRI with contrast show the mass to have an enhancing rim.
