Etiology: Chronic obstruction of cystic duct due to impacted stone, tumor, polyp, extrinsic compression, Kawasaki disease
Imaging: Marked dilation of the gallbladder

Clinical: Presents with abdominal pain with palpable gallbladder without signs of infection
Radiology Cases of Gallbladder Hydrops
Transverse (above) and sagittal (below) US of the liver shows an extremely dilated gallbladder that is filled with anechoic fluid. Ascites is also present inferior to the liver on the sagittal image.
