Gastric Antral Web

  • Etiology: Ring of mucosa in the gastric antrum
  • Imaging UpperGI: Smooth thin vertical filling defect leading to narrowing of gastric antrum before the pylorus
  • DDX:
  • Complications: Gastric outlet obstruction
  • Treatment: If symptomatic can be removed endoscopically or surgically
  • Clinical: Can present with gastric outlet obstruction
