Pediatric Hamartomatous Polyps

  • Etiology: hamartoma
  • Imaging: most polyps in small bowel, cause small bowel-small bowel intussusception
  • Clinical: syndromes with hamartomatous polyps include Basal cell nevus syndrome (associated with medulloblastoma), Cowden syndrome, Cronkhite-Canada syndrome, Peutz-Jeghers syndrome
