Kohler Disease

  • Etiology: Idiopathic avascular necrosis of tarsal navicular bone
  • Imaging Radiograph: Sclerosis and fragmentation of tarsal navicular bone
  • DDX: Sclerosis and fragmentation of tarsal navicular bone can be normal
  • Complications:
  • Treatment:
  • Clinical:
    — Presents with pain and tenderness on weight bearing
    — Usually affects older children
    — Bilateral in 20%
