Pediatric Lyme Arthritis

  • Etiology: Borrelia burgdorfei
  • Imaging: oligoarticular, knee affected in 80%
  • DDX: difficult to differentiate imaging wise from juvenile idiopathic arthritis or septic arthritis
  • Clinical: 25% Lyme arthritis is in patients < 15 years old
