Radiology Cases of Polydactyly
Radiology Cases of Central Polydactyly
Radiograph of the hands shows bilateral fusion of the soft tissues of the third and fourth digits. In the right hand there is fusion of the distal third and fourth phalanges. There are extra phalanges in the left fourth digit which are fused to their counterparts distally and proximally.
Radiology Cases of Post Axial Polydactyly in Short Rib Polydactyly Syndrome
CXR AP (left) and lateral (center) show extremely short ribs resulting in a very small thorax and thus low lung volumes. AP radiograph of the upper extremity (right) shows a short humerus and an extra digit attached to the fifth digit.
