  • Etiology: In adults due to parathyroid adenoma, parathyroid carcinoma, parathyroid hyperplasia
  • Imaging Radiograph:
    — Resorption of periosteal new bone with decreased mineralization
    — Coarse trabeculae
    — Erosive changes at muscle insertions
    — Brown tumors (osteoclasts, cell debris, hemorrhage)
