Trampoline Fracture

  • Etiology: Occur on trampoline or in bouncy house during tandem jumping when larger person is jumping up and smaller person is landing on recoiling trampoline
  • Imaging Radiograph: Incomplete transverse or buckle fracture of proximal tibial metaphysis
  • Note: Trampolines can also cause fractures of vertebral bodies and sternum
