Pediatric Traumatic Hip Dislocation
Etiology: High impact trauma such as in a motor vehicle collision with hip dislocation occuring posteriorly as a result of the knee hitting the dashboard with the hip in flexion
Imaging Radiograph: Posterior hip dislocation
Imaging CT: Done to look for entrapped fragments in hip joint
DDX:
Complications: Entrapped fragments in hip joint
Treatment: Reduction of dislocation
Clinical: Uncommon
