Pediatric Umbilical Hernia

Etiology: Loop of bowel or part of omentum herniates into umbilicus
Imaging AXR: Midline circular density in abdomen
Imaging US: Loop of bowel or part of omenum within the umbilicus
DDX:
Complications: Can cause bowel obstruction and incarceration
Treatment: Immediate manual reduction and ultimately surgical correction
