Wolman Disease

  • Etiology: lysosomal acid lipase deficiency which results in accumulation of lipid esters in liver, spleen, lymph nodes, adrenal cortex, and small bowel which can lead to malabsorption and thus malnutrition
  • AXR: bilateral diffuse calcification in enlarged adrenal glands
