CXR AP with the left arm down (above) shows the tip of the left upper extremity PICC to project in the superior vena cava. CXR AP with the left arm up (below) obtained later the same day shows the tip of the PICC to have moved to deep within the right atrium.
The diagnosis was change in position of the upper extremity PICC line tip due to change in arm position.
