Preschooler with kyphosis Lateral radiograph of the spine shows central beaking of the anterior aspect of the vertebral bodies resulting in a short-segment thoracolumbar kyphosis (gibbus deformity). There is also diffuse flattening of the vertebral bodies (platyspondyly). The diagnosis was Morquio syndrome.
