Coronal CT with contrast of the abdomen (left) shows an air-filled appendix of normal diameter in the middle of the image just beneath the bifurcation of the iliac vessels. There are also multiple enlarged lymph nodes present throughout the mesentery, particularly in the left upper quadrant (right).
