Teenager with longstanding bilateral heel pain

Lateral radiographs of the left foot (above) and right foot (below) show dense calcaneal apophyses bilaterally which have been present on radiographs over the last 4 years. The calcaneal apophyses bilaterally are now nearly completely fused.

The diagnosis was bilateral Sever disease.
